Dying Or Dormant?

Another day, another Alocasia bites the dust.

Your leaves are yellowing and browning at the edges at a rapid rate until all you’re left with is a little stump. Whilst both sad and quite annoying! This is a perfectly natural process of dormancy.

During the winter months when the temps drop and sunlight is less intense, your Alocasias will take a long nap and preserve their energy for the warmer months.

It’s important you keep up their care, watering them when the soil is almost completely dry and providing sufficient light, so they can burst back to life in the spring time.
